Sr. Chaplain Dennis Maloney

- International Director of Sanctuary Outpost - Email

Dennis and his wife Sally were called by God to the Gospel ministry in 1990. This led to their acceptance by the stewardship department of SIM/USA as a regional stewardship consultant assisting their donors, and later served as church relations specialist working with mission projects and SIM/USA's supporting churches. While serving with SIM/USA, Dennis and Sally began to travel and work from a recreation vehicle. This led to the founding of CRM International in 2000.

Dennis served as the General Director of CRM International until December of 2011 when he accepted the position of International Director of CRM Intl as well as their missions division Sanctuary Outpost. Dennis brings his years of mission experience to bear on this new effort as the CRM International board of directors seeks to involve the Destination RV Community churches in the task of world mission. Dennis' wife Chaplain Sally Maloney provides leadership in the RV women's mission effort through her involvement with the organization God's Worthy Women that she helped found. Please pray for them as they serve.

Educational Background:
I went to the Argentine High School in Argentine KS, and graduated in 1957. After serving an apprenticeship on the Railroad, I went to Omaha Baptist Bible College (Now Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary.) I graduated in 1965 and became the pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church in Topeka, KS the same year.
Laura and I began a new Church plant in 1968 in Shawnee, Kansas – The Victory Baptist Church. We stayed there for the next 12 years. While at Victory Baptist Church, I received my Master of Arts Degree in Biblical languages from Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary In 1974.

I left the Victory Baptist Church in December of 1979 to enter the field of Jewish Missions with The Fellowship of Baptist For Home Missions. We served in the mission for the next several years in the Kansas City Area. I made trips to Israel during this time, and God truly blessed our ministry.

While I worked at the ministry of Missions, I completed a Master of Ministry degree in Theology at Luther Rice Seminary. I also completed my education with a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Theology in 1981.
I began teaching at The Carver Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary on a full time basis in 1984, and continued there for the next ten years. While I was teaching, I served as the Pastor of Congregational Care at the Grace Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO.

I have a true desire to be involved in Missions, and have fellowshipped with various groups’ in many different places. I love the nation of Israel, and have gone there to minister during my ministry. I have had the joy of being involved with Africa and have been able to go there on three occasions. I have also been blessed to minister to the Blackfoot Indians of Browning Montana while helping fellow missionaries in that field. I was blessed to become an honorary part of the Blackfeet Indian Nation. My Indian name is (Holy Eagle). Some have said it should have been “Bald Eagle.”

My education continues even today as I finish my training in Biblical Counseling. I am seeking certification with the NANC (National Association of Nouthetic Counselors). I have finished all of my course work, and have passed all of my exams, and I am now working in a practicum to complete my certification.
I am looking forward to serving the Missionaries of Sanctuary Outpost of CRM. I am also looking forward to studying the Bible with these God honoring men and Women.
